This program equips participants with project management skills and techniques which ultimately makes them experts in successful project completion. This allows them plan, execute and monitor projects for successful completion, given the constraints posed by cost, scope, time and quality.
Participants will also cover the “how to” and “why” of each step in managing a project from beginning to end with a high probability of total success.
Objectives
The primary objective for this training program is to:
- Prepare participants to pass the PMP & CAPM credential examination on their first try.
- Learn how to break down a large project into manageable chunks so that accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates can be planned to avoid unnecessary variations during project execution.
- Develop realistic schedules to avoid delays and embarrassment that lead to unforeseen increase in project cost, compromises in product quality and customer dissatisfaction.
- Acquire the ability to assemble the right team for a project, develop and motivating them to deliver excellent performance on the job so that projects are completed successfully.
- Carefully monitor and control ongoing projects to minimize deviations from planned activities and costs.
Accreditation
The PMP® certification scheme is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) against the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17024. The 17024 standard includes vigorous requirements for examination development and maintenance and for the quality management systems for continuing quality assurance.
In addition, the PMP certification is also registered against the ISO 9001:2015 standard for quality management systems.
